Ambientec at Minotti Berlin – The Winter Exhibition 2025
During the winter season, when rooms demand warmth, atmosphere and subtle accents, Minotti Berlin focuses on a special exhibition: Ambientec , the Japanese manufacturer of exceptional lighting design, can be experienced exclusively in the showroom throughout the entire winter season.
With the new portable lamp “Barcarolle”, Ambientec presents a collection that redefines the boundaries between light, object and sensory experience – and is also an ideal gift for design lovers.
Ambientec – Japanese precision, international design power
Since its founding in 2009, Ambientec has combined Japanese craftsmanship with influences from Italian, European, and North American design. The brand has made a name for itself worldwide by translating poetic light , technical innovation, and uncompromising material quality into portable, durable lighting fixtures.
Well-known designs such as TURN by Nao Tamura or FOTICA by Kensaku Oshiro demonstrate the design range: minimalist, functional, and emotionally precise. Each lamp is conceived as a durable object, crafted with a level of sophistication more reminiscent of instrument making than classic mass production.
The new "Barcarolle" lamp – light that touches all the senses
First presented at Synesthesia Tokyo Design Season , Barcarolle is now making its way into Berlin's winter scene.
The exhibition at the Ambientec Gallery Tokyo combined light, scent and sound – and at Minotti Berlin, it is also noticeable what this object was designed for: a multisensory experience.
- The fragrance compositions of the Argentinian perfume house FUEGUIA 1833 told of “light”, “water” and “city”.
- The music of the German composer Felix Rösch became part of the production.
- And Barcarolle itself became the still center – a portable, rechargeable light source that combines warmth, structure and precision.
The light fixture demonstrates what Ambientec stands for: light that not only shapes spaces but also influences moods.
