New In: Bézier Sofa by Marcio Kogan/Studio MK 27 at Minotti Berlin
With the Bézier seating program, more than "just" a classic sofa has moved into the showroom of Minotti Berlin. Bézier consists of modular, organically shaped elements that can be flexibly combined to create new arrangements again and again.
The design of Bézier comes from Studio MK27, whose founder Marcio Kogan is known for clear lines. With Bézier, he deliberately takes a different path: instead of strict geometry, he focuses on irregular volumes and flowing forms. Kogan refers to Oscar Niemeyer and his attitude: "The entire universe consists of curves."

The curves of the Bézier are reflected in the comfortable seating surfaces, where comfort plays a crucial role: they are soft without yielding, and consist of several layers of polyurethane foams of different densities. The craftsmanship is precise - a hallmark of Minotti's quality - exemplified in this model by the seams that precisely follow the curves. A continuous lumbar cushion along the backrest increases seating comfort and simultaneously acts as a design detail.
The name Bézier is also no coincidence. It refers to Pierre Bézier, whose curve model from computer graphics stands for controlled, flowing forms. This exact combination of mathematical logic and creative freedom characterizes the design.
Thanks to its generous, partly island-like modules, the system is suitable for any living space. It shifts the role of the sofa: away from a single piece of furniture, towards a place for exchange and shared use.
Despite all the innovations for and by Marcio Kogan, Bézier remains true to the approach of Studio MK27: functional, clear, and at the same time open to movement and change.
