Poliform – Envisioning spaces, not just furnishing them

Poliform was founded in Italy in 1970 and developed from a craft-based tradition into an internationally established brand for high-quality furnishing systems. The company remains family-owned to this day and stands for clear, continuous development in the international design context.

An important step in the company's development occurred in the 1990s when Poliform entered the European markets and established itself as a leading brand, especially in the field of wardrobe systems. This focus on systematic solutions continues to characterize the brand today.

In 2020, Poliform celebrated its 50th anniversary; already in 2018, the founders were awarded the Compasso d'Oro for their lifetime achievement – recognition for their lasting influence on international furniture design.

From the beginning, Poliform's core idea has been to view furniture not as individual pieces, but as part of a larger spatial concept. Poliform thinks in systems and develops solutions that connect architecture, function, and design.

Systems, Material, and Living Concepts

A central component of Poliform's work has therefore been the development of modular systems. These include wardrobe solutions, dressing rooms, and architectural elements that structure spaces while remaining flexibly adaptable. Kitchen systems are also part of their broad portfolio.

This system logic also extends to upholstered furniture and individual elements. Sofas, tables, and storage solutions are designed to integrate into various spatial concepts and relate to one another.

Material plays a crucial role in this. Wood, glass, metal, and textile surfaces are precisely combined and determine the effect of the furniture in the room. The design remains deliberately minimalist and follows a clear, balanced formal language.

Poliform works closely with international designers, including Jean-Marie Massaud, Emmanuel Gallina, and Carlo Colombo, among others. Together, they create designs that consistently advance the brand's aspirations.

Poliform in Berlin

In Berlin, we present Poliform in a monobrand showroom, the largest in Germany. Here, the brand can be experienced in its full breadth, gaining a comprehensive impression of the different systems and living concepts.

The designs are characterized by their calm presence, precise craftsmanship, and clear structure. They naturally blend into various architectural contexts and support a consistent design of the living space.
