The CAB saddle leather chair is a bestseller from Cassina. Designed by Mario Bellini in the 1970s, the design is now one of the iconic pieces of furniture in Cassina's "I Contemporanei" collection. CAB is characterized by a self-supporting structure made of saddle leather, with the relationship between skeleton and skin serving as the source of inspiration. The cover consists of 16 leather parts, which are carefully handcrafted in many individual steps and, like a tailored suit, are pulled over the steel frame and closed with zippers.
