The Mater Bowl tables from the Danish design label Mater are made from solid mango wood. Designer Ayush Kasliwal was inspired by Indian bowls, which are traditionally painted in dazzling red and are widespread in India. The mango wood is treated with an environmentally friendly water-based glaze that gives the tables their special, individual colors.

The mango tree is widespread in India due to its popular fruit and is grown in plantations. When a tree exceeds the peak of its productivity, it is cut down and replaced by a new one.
The table tops and bowls are made of solid mango wood from sustainable sources. You can choose between various colors. The table legs are made of black lacquered steel or brass.
