Tom Dixon, born in 1959 in Sfax, Tunisia, is an exceptionally versatile designer. His inspiration comes from snapshots of everyday life. The driving force behind his efforts is the vision of reviving the British furniture industry. Innovative designs, such as his designer lamps, are based on the island's existing heritage and at the same time often incorporate patterns and shapes from other cultures.
