"Celebrating 20 Years" – bocci and dopo domani lighting

In January 2026, a special chapter begins in the dopo domani showroom : Together with Bocci, we celebrate 20 years of exceptional design and 20 years of collaborative partnership. These two anniversaries are the focus of a specially curated installation, which can be seen from January 27, 2026, in the showroom at Kantstraße 148 in Berlin .

The installation explores the interplay of light, space, and material, bringing to life what Bocci has stood for for two decades. Visitors can also experience the elaborate installations in the showroom during regular opening hours and receive personal consultations – whether for specific projects or simply for inspiration.

Founded in Vancouver in 2005, Bocci has since established itself internationally as an independent design brand. Under the creative direction of Omer Arbel, the company creates lighting fixtures and installations characterized by an experimental approach to material, form, and manufacturing. The studio's working method is distinctive: research, development, and production all take place in-house. Bocci's numbered series do not refer to collections in the traditional sense, but rather to ongoing design processes. Many of these designs are now considered seminal works in contemporary lighting design and are featured in international architecture and interior design projects.

For Bocci, the "Celebrating 20 Years" anniversary marks not only a chronological milestone but also a retrospective look at twenty years of creative research. Installations, special projects, and new works will be presented worldwide as part of this event, showcasing the experimental core of the brand. Light is understood not as a purely functional element but as an atmospheric, spatially effective medium.

The installation at dopo domani also represents a long-standing partnership based on mutual trust, a commitment to design, and collaborative project work. For 20 years, Bocci and dopo domani have shared the philosophy of not considering lighting solutions in isolation, but always within the context of architecture, interior design, and use.
