New In: Series 118 by Bocci at dopo domani
In the showrooms of dopo domani, Ruby, and Herrendorf, the sarto – Tailored Interiors teams’ love for Bocci luminaires is clearly evident – this partnership has existed for 20 years, since Bocci's founding.
20 years in which light has been translated into completely different forms and structures through Bocci's designs, always acquiring a sculptural character – and always providing suitable lighting for interior concepts of various kinds.
With the 118 Series – now on display in the dopo domani showroom – Bocci achieves a remarkable balancing act between chance and precision. Designed by Omer Arbel in 2022, the series has been part of the Bocci portfolio since 2023.

The luminaire is characterized by a special manufacturing process: Molten opal glass is pushed through a steel cage and encased in clear glass. On the outside, a simple sphere is created, but inside, a multi-layered, organic-looking structure emerges. Heat and gravity form delicate, feather-like patterns, making each luminaire unique.
When turned off, only faintly translucent, the entire resulting structure is revealed by gentle LED light. Small irregularities, such as air bubbles, are not flaws but an expression of artisanal individuality.
The 118 luminaires are less classic light sources than independent sculptural objects. Their light is deliberately restrained. They are particularly impressive in groups: seemingly uniform yet different in every detail, multi-layered compositions with almost infinite variation emerge.
In the dopo domani showroom, you can experience the 118 series live, both as a solitaire in the form of a table lamp and as a hanging system.
