Fabrics and colors are among the most important "tools" our interior designers use when planning individual furnishing concepts.

sarto – Tailored Interiors operates the largest fabric studio in Berlin, perhaps even in Europe.

Our studio comprises more than 4,000 fabric collections from renowned brands and selected manufacturers, some of whom also work for haute couture labels.

Our range of services extends from wall coverings, carpets, upholstered furniture, and wallpaper to curtains, cushions, blankets, and bed linen.

We offer you textile interior design from a single source: from initial consultation to individual customisation and professional installation by our in-house decorator.

Fabrics must be felt and experienced. Colors only unfold their effect in daylight. We look forward to welcoming you to one of our Berlin showrooms.

Briefing

You tell us what you envision for your project. Our experienced fabric experts will support you in planning and realizing your individual fabric project.

Concept

Based on your ideas, we develop an initial design draft.

Presentation

During a presentation, we provide you with concrete suggestions for your material and color concept.

Implementation

After coordination and integration of your wishes, our experienced team takes over the implementation. We coordinate all work steps and ensure a smooth process.

Realization

We handle all production steps: from custom manufacturing in our sewing studio to delivery and professional installation by our experienced decorators.

For the restoration and upholstery of antiques, we can, upon request, call upon certified master workshops.

Even after the completion of your project, we are happy to assist you. Whether it's the professional steaming of your curtains so they hang perfectly again, or the professional cleaning of your textiles: you can rely on our service in the long term as well.

Window decoration

We plan curtains, window coverings, and internal blinds with you using exclusive fabrics. If required, we also develop custom-made solutions for technology, mounting, and function.

For special details, we collaborate with a selected manufacturer who still produces braids, fringes, and trim tapes according to traditional craftsmanship.

Our product range also includes high-quality functional fabrics that are dirt-repellent and easy to care for, as well as technical fabrics for acoustic requirements and fire protection.

Upon request, we integrate high-quality pollen and insect protection, almost invisibly and harmoniously coordinated with your window decoration.

Wall covering

Textile wall designs lend depth and a unique atmosphere to rooms. With high-quality fabrics, we create elegant surfaces and set stylish contrasts to materials such as wood, natural stone, or metal. Upon request, we combine textile wall coverings with wall painting, wallpaper, or other forms of wall design.

Furthermore, we also offer wall cladding with high-quality leather.

Wallpapers

Our product range extends from classic patterned wallpapers and exclusive manufactured wallpapers to natural fiber wallpapers made of sisal, jute, or grass, as well as individual digital prints and sound-absorbing wallpapers.

For bathrooms and other wet areas, we offer special moisture-resistant solutions that meet the highest demands in terms of function and aesthetics. For terraces, loggias, and outdoor areas, high-quality outdoor wallpapers complement our range. They are permanently weather-resistant and UV-resistant, combining functionality with sophisticated design.

Upholstery fabrics, covers, borders, and fringes

We think holistically and develop fabrics further and further: for furniture, home textiles such as cushions and bed linen, and antiques.

Give a piece of furniture a very personal touch with upholstery fabrics from haute couture manufacturers or fabrics exclusively made for you. Our experienced craftsmen can also professionally reupholster antique unique pieces if desired.

Love for detail is shown in the subtle accents. Upon request, we can complement your interior with handmade braids, fringes, and trim tapes.

Among others, we work with traditional French weaving mills that produce individual fabrics for you on historical hand looms. Whether brocade, lampas, or a bespoke custom-made item: almost anything is possible.

For outdoor areas, we also offer high-quality outdoor upholstery and decorative fabrics that permanently withstand sun, rain, and moisture.

In our fabric studio, twelve seamstresses produce almost any custom textile for your home.

Carpets

Rugs add structure and warmth to rooms. Discover a wide selection with us, from hand-knotted unique pieces to high-quality machine-made rugs.

Our range includes natural materials like wool and sisal, as well as particularly durable qualities for commercial spaces and offices. You can choose colors, materials, formats, and sizes entirely according to your preferences. Our team will advise you competently and support you from selection to implementation.

Michaela Okulaja

Since 2022, Michaela Okulaja has been managing the Dopo Domani fabric studio and is your contact person in the showroom on Kantstraße as well as for all furnishing planning, for all questions concerning fabrics for furniture, floors, walls and windows.
