Cavalletto is a table with a well-thought-out structure, for a feeling of total lightness, as the volume and weight of the table have been reduced to a minimum. The 833 Cavalletto table was designed by Franco Albini in 1950, but only went into production at Cassina in 2008.

The elegant Cassina 833 Cavalletto trestle table is available in natural ash or slate-stained ash. Due to its size and lightness, Cavalletto can be used as a small dining table or as a simple desk.

Design Franco Albini

Franco Albini (1905–1977) was an important Italian architect and designer known for his innovative and functional designs. He is considered one of the most important representatives of 20th-century Italian design and left a lasting influence on both architecture and furniture design.

Albini was also a talented furniture designer and collaborated with various manufacturers, including Cassina and Poggi. His most famous pieces include the Albini chair, the Cattelan shelf, and the Cavalletto table.
