The Capitol Complex Table from Cassina impresses with a striking "V"-shaped support, a special compositional scheme that can be found in other furnishings from the Capitol Complex family. The design originated between 1963 and 1964 when the Swiss architect and furniture designer Pierre Jeanneret, together with his famous cousin Le Corbusier, oversaw numerous projects in the Indian city of Chandigarh. Le Corbusier's Capitol Complex government building was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2016. Pierre Jeanneret was largely responsible for the interior design.
