The Capitol Complex Table by Cassina impresses with a striking "V"-shaped support, a special compositional scheme that can be found in other furnishing objects from the Capitol Complex family. The design was created between 1963 and 1964 when the Swiss architect and furniture designer Pierre Jeanneret worked on numerous projects in the Indian city of Chandigarh together with his famous cousin Le Courbusier. Le Corbusier's Capitol Complex government building was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2016. Pierre Jeanneret was largely responsible for the interior design.
