The small Doron Hotel armchair by Cassina was designed in 1947 by Charlotte Perriand for the Hôtel Doron in the winter sports resort of Méribel in the French Alps. The French designer was a mountain lover and had a strong connection to nature. She was one of the first to put the relationship between man and the environment at the center of her work and preferred to use natural materials for her projects.
The Doron Hotel armchair was reissued by Cassina in 2020.
