Eileen Gray (1878–1976) was an important Irish-French designer and architect.
Gray designed numerous iconic pieces of furniture, including the famous "Bibendum" armchair (1926) and the "E1027" table (1927).
Eileen Gray is often associated with the Bauhaus style, although she pursued her own unique approach. She was a pioneer in the use of new materials such as tubular steel and glass and contributed to the development of modern design.
