In 1921, Bernard-Albin Gras created a series of lamps for factories and their offices. The lamps were groundbreaking for their time due to their ergonomics and simple mechanics—assembled without screws or soldering. Their modern design and quality quickly made them a favorite of many designers, including Le Corbusier. Because they were used in both factories and homes, this aesthetic has endured to this day.
The Gras N°213 wall lamp by DCW is made of steel. It can be individually aimed and adjusted in length. The lamp’s frame is black, while the shade is available in numerous colors and both round and conical styles. The 213 connects directly to the wall and has no switch.
