In 1921, Bernard Albin Gras designed a series of lamps for industry and offices. The lamps were groundbreaking for their time due to their ergonomics and mechanical simplicity – without screws or soldering. Especially because of their modern design and quality, the lamps quickly became a favourite of many designers (including Le Corbusier). Given their use in factories and homes, this aesthetic has endured to this day.

DCW is breaking new ground with the pendant lights from the 'Acrobates de Gras' collection, which completely forego the articulated mechanisms characteristic of Gras lamps, yet effortlessly blend into the familiar aesthetic.

Optionally, you can order a separate matt black ceiling part ('Part AC1', Ø 9 cm) as an accessory.

On request you can order a matt black 50 cm or 100 cm long cable conduit ('Part AC 2') which allows the lights to be connected in series or installed away from an awkwardly positioned power connection.

Canopy: 12 x 9 cm, matt black
