The Galaxy pendant light is a fascinating design piece that was designed by Charles and Ray Eames for the "An Exhibition for Modern Living" exhibition at the Detroit Institute of Arts in 1949, but was never brought to market due to the technological limitations of the industry at the time. The lamp consists of a central sphere to which 36 tubes of different lengths are mounted, with each tube equipped with its own LED light source. This makes it possible to recreate the starry sky and creates an impressive lighting atmosphere. Cassina has modernized the original design by adding a plug-and-play system that makes it easier to insert the tubes into the sphere.

The surface of the lamp comes in matt black or shiny aluminum. The 36 tubes of the Galaxy lamp have different lengths (15, 30 and 45 cm).
