The George Nelson Bubble Lamp Cigar pendant lamp embodies a milestone in 20th-century design history. Designed in 1947 by George Nelson, a pioneer of American Modernism, this lamp has established itself as a fundamental work of lighting design. Its presence in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York underscores its status as a cultural icon and a reference point for generations of designers. The Cigar version is distinguished by its characteristic elongated form, which exudes a subtle geometric elegance. The diffused light created by the organic structure provides even, glare-free illumination—a technical feature that reflects Nelson's innovative understanding of functional design. Combining constructive sophistication with aesthetic purity, the pendant lamp is ideally suited for sophisticated interiors that demand timeless quality and conceptual depth. An investment in authentic design heritage that will have a lasting impact on the space and its atmosphere.

Of all the lights in the renowned Bubble series, the Cigar enjoys unbroken popularity. The bulbous, compact cylinder is made of steel wire and surrounded by a special plastic. The Bubble Lamp Cigar is versatile, as it is available as a hanging, floor, wall and table lamp and in various sizes. Depending on the model, additional mounting and stand elements made of brushed nickel and walnut are used. The lights match both lighter furnishings and surfaces in pastel colors. In contrast to dark furniture, they complement other light-colored home accessories. But when combined with other Bubble lights, they stand out in their own right and shape your living area in an inspiring way.
